http://www.esr.co.uk/electronics/powers ... plugac.htm

It’s the fifth one down the page and the order form link is right at the bottom :D
Postage is about three pounds but it is pretty heavy, ESR are pretty quick to dispatch.

Hey Check Mate,

thank you very much for the link. I ordered one. Perhaps, the e-licktronick guys could compile all the links to PSUs for UK, France and Germany in this thread on the Yocto page?

Best,

jmx

Mine ordered from ESR arrived yesterday, all good - +15/+5/-15V where expected on the board. :)

I ordered this one, it should do:

http://www.luedeke-elektronic.de/produc ... 510AC.html

10 EUR for people in Germany it works out to about 15 EUR incl. shipping.

I'm in the UK. I got one from ESR - seems ideal, and fast service - thanks seven.

These apparently are used for train sets. Only minor issue is that the line plug is 2.5mm internal diameter whereas the PCB socket is a 2.1mm one. I've used an adaptor for now. I would be neater to change either the plug or socket. I couldnt easily get hold of a 2.5mm PCB socket with the same layout..

Hi jaidee

Thanks for the ESR link - I have just acquired a kit and needed a UK power supply, but could not find a compatible and reasonably priced AC-AC supply, despite checking many sites.

Cheers

I'm not too keen on PSUs with selectable outputs but perhaps I need to overcome my prejudices!

It's not entirely clear from the photo whether this is a transformer or switchmode supply.

Having done a bit more digging, I've noticed that my local supplier, ESR, has a 1500mA/16VAC supply for GBP8.50 which may be another alternative (it is a "line lump" rather than a "wall wart") - http://www.esr.co.uk/electronics/produc ... pplies.htm
