Ask if the print process is screen or digital… digital should be cheaper. However you will find that one offs are going to be more expensive because the bulk of the expense is in the set up. If you can find a supplier that prints digital and supplies prototypes they may be more inclined to produce low volume runs at a reasonable cost.
