Hey Guys,
I just bought a NAVA 909 and I'm trying to synchronise it to Logic pro. I bought an SBX-1 sync box to do so.
- My SBX-1 is connected to my mac via USB
- I have connected the DIN SYNC input from the 909 to the MIDI Out of the SBX-1 with a midi cable (5 connected pins / it should be working as fine as a DIN cable, right?)
It seems that nothing happens, I can't trigger the Nava sequencer with logic, no sound as well.
Nava - DIN SYNC with logic/ableton

nava only has a dinsync out.
sbx-1 midi out -> nava midi in will do the trick.

- SBX-1 MIDI OUT to Nava MIDI IN but still nothing seems to happen. Is there anything I need to change on the nava? I got the SBX-1 recognized by logic and synchronized as Midi clock transmit in preferences

Thanks! Ok so I now put it in Slave mode and the sequencer is triggered by logic. I have setup an audio file to record at the same time however it's pretty out of sync.. delaying the transmission works but only for the time of a recording, I need to re-sync it every time I stop/play the sequencer.
I have just tried to run SBX-1 as master clock and it does work, it triggers (plays / stops, changes tempo) of my Nava sequencer.
EDIT:
Surprisingly, I just tried again with logic (everything set up as before) and it now works perfectly..perfectly in sync, even the sequencer now restarts from scratch (not from where it was paused) !!

If anyone experiences the same issue, here is how I did it:
-> Turn on SBX-1 then Logic, then the Nava. Set it up as Slave.
Cheers!
