Hi there,
My yocto had some issues since a long time and I've decided to take some time to resolve them.
-Low tom was not working except for the pink noise.
-Rimshot was way too low in volume
-Cowbell as well
-Cymbal was not working anymore
First, Cymbal easy! The wire from the two boards was cut. Fixed! Then the Cowbell and Rimshot issue. I've read somewhere here that the firmware was kind of buggy or it could be buggy because of the way you transfer the sysex files. I've upgraded to the V.1c. Done! Finally the low tom was causing some problem for a long time. Looking at the schematics provided by Vincent and the Roland's originals I've figured out that the D55 was the tranny somehow. Cleared!
BUT now I've encountered another issue since i've moved the boards out of its case, flipping it around. The Accent is not working at all. I mean I can sequence the Accent but it produces no result on the sounds. Everything is working tho.
I've looked at the schematics but can't find what to do now. I've taken some measurements for those who are still reading my thread at this point.
