Discuss Nava construction and related issues
  • Hi Portable Fishy,

I don't have built the Nava but I would like too. So I give you some tips and I hope someone could help you for the rest.
You have a "built it" guide who explain part by part with pictures. Some components don't have orientation like resistors but others are polarized (some capacitors, diodes, etc.) and you need to be carefull. Don't worry, it will be explained in the guide : "Electrolytics capacitors are polarized, the long leg of the capacitors is the positive. Pay attention to orientation in which you solder electrolytics capacitors."

But you should read a lot of topic in this forum before start !

    Good luck !
  • Great, thanks Bankazik for the advice! I didn't see the Build It page before and after taking a look at the pictures & instructions it is much much easier to understand what is needed to get everything assembled and soldered together. This is really helpful and I'll be sure to go through some more threads to familiarise myself with what everyone else has experienced during their builds so far.

    Thanks!
