Hi all, I know this topic has been discussed as I have read all the messages on this entire forum. This has to do with running short wires between the 5 slide switches (housings) and grounding them to a ground point of our choice. What's the final verdict, do we do this or is it not necessary? I'm only waiting on Kacpers case before I button up the project and I want to make sure about this issue before I encase my beautiful little baby. Thank you for your answer(s).
Regards,
Danny S.
Final decision on grounding the slide switches?
I can't believe 15 people have viewed my question and nobody has the answer I seek, or they just didn't feel like answering
Maybe Vincent will see my question.

I didn't since the noise is really slight and doesn't bother me and happens only with the middle tom or something if i grab the switch with my fingers. Can't recall if it was even easily reproduceable with the case fitted. You don't need the case to test it out how it is on your build, just power it on and touch the metal parts of the switches - if it bothers you, do the mod.
Thanks a lot Rat, I do appreciate the info.

Yes, in general every metal part should be grounded.
Turn up the volume and compare.

I guess I must be stupid. I was only trying to make sure before I finished it up. I saw some said to do it, others didn't, so I wanted a final verdict, that's all. I'm sorry my post annoyed you.
