Ok, then, next question; did you measure this with the diode function on a multimeter? Normally that function isn't really accurate, so the ones showing below 1V could be presumed ok.
A more accurate way is to put the diode in parallel with say a 9V battery and a 1K resistor in series between the + of the battery and the anode of the diode. Then measure the voltage drop over the diode.
If you look at the datasheet of a 1N60 you will find the Vf at 1V. So my guess is the one you measured 1.6 might be at fault.
Check your Germanium diodes!
