Yocto bom 100uf 6.3v electrolytic caps vs 10v
-
Hey my mouser bom came with 100uf 6.3v capacitors instead of the 100uf 10v caps the instructions call for. Is this a suitable replacement or am I doing something wrong. Thanks guys.
Works fine with the 6.3V caps.fomtoberheim wrote:Hey my mouser bom came with 100uf 6.3v capacitors instead of the 100uf 10v caps the instructions call for. Is this a suitable replacement or am I doing something wrong. Thanks guys.
AFAIK a higher voltage rated cap can have a longer lifetime than smaller one with the same capacitance, but we're still talking tens of years. So don't worry, solder happy.

C16 c18 and c20 aren't polarized on the pcb. Looked at the schem. Is there something I'm missing?
