Search box limitation?

Any chance the search box for the forum can be changed to allow simple searches, such as " snare" or "bassdrum" etc? the search box is useless with the current limitations, anyone else want to be able to see EVERYTHING with "snare" etc in it?
yeah would be nice to port over to https://www.discourse.org/ forum application

He means you cant search for terms like "snare" (you get a warning the term is ignored because it occurs to much)
however, just google site targetted search, its usually better than most on-site search engines anyway:

Thanks RvO i'll try that way in future, and yes, RvO thats exactly what i mean, i cant simply search 'snare' and all snare related topics are shown regardless of how often it might be mentioned!!! i want more, in fact i want it ALL!!!!! eg just now i remembered seeing a post regarding how the clap was way louder than the maracas and a solution to fix it, so to TRY find this post i first put in 'handclap too loud' into search box and nothing came up, i then tried 'handclap maracas loud' - but nothing! then 'handclap maracas volume' - nothing! then i just tried 'handclap' but its too common! i want common, i want every single mention in the forum of handclap or whatever i put in the box to shown up! Do you get me?
