Hi everyone,
My Yocto is complete, bar a case. It's working, first time with no (2 v small) issues.
I'd just like to thank everyone who has helped along the way, given advice etc!!
Regarding TM3, I didn't see much about calibration however for those who don't know, when you start up your Yocto, play a clap sequence and twist the trimmer until it sounds how you like, really couldn't be simpler.
The unit its self sounds incredible, especially when I overdrive the volumes slightly.
The only two issues someone may be able to assist with are as follows:
1. If I play a sequence, any sequence with all volume pots turned right the way down, these is a quiet clicking sound that seems to be triggered by the rim shot sequence.
2. The middle tom/middle conga makes a slight humming sound when the switch is in midconga position, this is amplified if I touch the switches metal casing?
Any ideas, please let me know.
Anyway, thank you all so much, it's been a pleasure.
If you have any questions please ask here/other threads/pm and i'll try my best to help but remember i'm no expert.
I'll say I did take my time to make sure there were no solder bridges, the polarities were all correct and that everything went into their respective places.
The forum is a treasure trove so dig deep!
Jeremy.
IT WORKS, PERFECTLY, FIRST TIME!
About 2nd question, if you installed an internal voltage transformer, this is common.
Thanks for your reply however, I don't have an internal transformer, instead an external line lump.gihaume wrote:About 2nd question, if you installed an internal voltage transformer, this is common.
Cheers anyway!
Hi Jeremy,
I have the very same problem with the midtom, the hum also gets louder when I turn the pitch as low as it goes. I am using an internal transformer. Please let me know if you find a solution to this, I promise to do the same! Cheers!

Hi,
I also have similar issues with toms and rimshot. Volume is all the way down but I can still hear sound/clicks when they are triggered by the sequence.
So any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I am getting clicking when the rimshot is triggered also... does anyone know why this might be...?
