A couple of calibration questions and then I'm finished....

If i remember correctly the original 808 clap behaves the same....so 100% cloned
My Yocto clap behaves the same...
Sweet!
Right, so I just have to sort out the leaking accent noise and possibly swap out the noise resistor to get more comfortably adjustable and then I'm pretty much done

I've the same issue. Have you solved this?4teenth wrote:Other than that, I've noticed a couple of weird things - i seems that the reverb part of my clap does not sound for the first couple of times.

Holy smokes, that video made me dizzy
Also, is that noise in the background from the recording or the Yocto?

Oh yes, it is the vibration caused by the powerful bass!
The background noise is unfortunately what i hear at my home. I live very close to a thoroughfare.
However i re-edited the video, so I will not have to feel guilty about any headaches...
Actually the Yocto is fairly quiet. I replaced the operational of the master with a OP275...

It sounds great!
The clap missing full decay on the first couple of hits is a known issue and probably a design mistake somewhere in rolands history. My 808 and DR110 show exactly the same behaviour.
Oh, it's a great thing to know! It means the Yocto is a perfect clone!deejayraoul wrote:The clap missing full decay on the first couple of hits is a known issue and probably a design mistake somewhere in rolands history. My 808 and DR110 show exactly the same behaviour.
Thank you deejayraoul!
