Sound is low and some voice not working

Hi,

I have a Yocto that I just finished (with a big break of 3 years

).

I have some problem with it.

On first power up and start seq immediately, on ~first Step the voices have a good volume, after, all voices volume is decreased

Bassdrum, Snare, Rimshot, claves, and handclap do not work (bassdrum ans snare have very low volume)

If i turn clockwise accent Knob, all voices volume decreased

I'm search, but is to hard to find, i have a doubt on BA6110, but I don't think this is the source of all problems.

If you have an old kit you may want to swap the IC in the accent section because some that e-lick sent were defekt.

It seems you have a lot of non working voices. For each, inspect firstly for soldering issues (there is a few spots where pads are very close but shouldn't connect..), then ICs/transistors and polarized parts orientations, then parts/values placement.

I can physically help in Switzerland, otherwise it's too complicated.

There is also this site (https://www.dsl-man.de/display/DSO/Yoct ... ding+tipps) which offers mod / fix, are some of them necessary? (first fix it's ok for me)

ok, after replaced Accent CI and all re-checking, all voice work, but :

Bassdrum have only "Attack sound" (no bass) and decay knob don't work.
The handclap sound is fully saturated, BA6110 burned ?

For the clap, just change the trimmer setting maybe ? If your BA6110 was burned, I think it most likely wouldn't output any sound (but I am no expert).

For the bassdrum:
- if you have sockets, try to swap U12 with another similar IC
- check C43 value and orientation
- check R170, R164, R169, R168 (absolute) values
