Hey all,
I'm having a weird issue with a Nava I just built. I put the Atmel in and at v1.028 it defaults to "Expander" mode. I flashed the firmware down to 1.027 (also tried 1.026) and it's stuck in SLV (Slave) Mode @ 250BPM. It won't save. When I try to save it and restart, it reverts back to SLV @ 250BPM.
I've tried a different EEPROM and re-initialized. Believe there's some sort of hardware issue, maybe.
Any help you can provide would be amazing.
Thanks!
New Nava - Firmware Issues (Hardware-related)
Anyone? I tried flashing it all manually with my AVR and it defaults to "EXPANDER" on v1.028.
I have the same problem and cann't find the solution. So I need also helpers !!!Conjure wrote:Anyone? I tried flashing it all manually with my AVR and it defaults to "EXPANDER" on v1.028.
Hi there,
It seems that you have a EEprom issue.
Try to tie Pin 7 of IC115 (EEprom) to GND it should solve your issue

This is not the problem. Pins 1-2-3-4-7 are connected to the 0V of IC115. Pin 8 to + 5V and pin 5 is SDA and pin 6 is SCL.e-licktronic wrote:Hi there,

Only the Config Settings are not saved. Other settings like the Patterns and Tracks are saved on a good way.
I made a plug-in print on IC115 just like that of the MUX Boards and soldered the two Memory Chips (SMD) of the Yocto V2 on it.
This works very well and also initializes the EEprom. This saves all settings well.
So it's the EEprom or Firmware problem. Have see both specifications and there is a difference between the SCL input rise / fall time.
For the M24M02, the SCL-SDA input rise/fall time is Max. 50nS and for the 24LC1025 the input rise/fall time Max 300nS.
Perhaps the problem is in the Firmware. Could you figure this out well? Not that users have to order other EEprom and replace it.
I solved it for me on this way and will not spend any more time on it.
With best regards,
