Someone else has built the kit for me, but the Cowbell seems to low pitched, this has been discussed in another thread,
But, not knowing much about these things, am I understanding this right:
Adjust TM1* up to a period of 1.85ms. If TM1* adjustment range is not large enough for this period change the value of R44 * per a resistor of 100Kohm. (supplied in kit)
So what needs doing is that the resistor in R44 needs removing and in it's place a 100kohm value resistor needs putting in and in the case of the R45 a 68k resistor should be put in(am I correct so far?), a few of these resistor things came back when he finished, but none of the spare seem to be 68k/100k resistors,
can I buy this and this to replace them:

?
And is this the only problem that could possibly be causing low pitch on the Cowbell(and maybe Cymbal too).
Should be swap these out, tune the Trim Pots and Voila?
Thanks in advance, once I fully understand I can return it to have this part fixed, my friend he has done an excellent job building the rest though...
Cowbell low pitch problems(SOLVED)!

Dear Seven,
Any resistors 1/4w 5% carbon or 1% metal film will do the job

This swapping both for 100k and 68k done the trick, but my cymbal sounds slightly different pitch to original 808 samples, like slightly diffent pitch, everything else sounds right...e-licktronic wrote:Dear Seven,
