PSU requirements: can I use a 16V AC wall-wart?

Can the power supply circuit handle a 16V AC power supply (larger than the recommended 15V)? I looked at the specs on the regulators and the switcher and they look like they can handle a slightly larger voltage input.

(my reason for this is that it's very difficult for me to get a 15V AC PSU in canada, but I can easily get a 16V AC PSU)

16VAC will work fine, don't worry. Make sure that the adapter you want to use can provide at least 1000ma on its output. I power my Yocto with 16VAC adapter too.

Confirmed.

Besides the minimum 1A, make sure it is AC! You won't be the first.. :D
