I'm at step 4 in the Yocto2 assembly guide where it suggests for non-experts to build each voice section separately to allow each section to be tested as you go, which is how I would like to do it. The guide says 'refer to the Nava building guide' for this, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take from the Nava guide. I looked at the first two sections (Noise, Bassdrum) and they don't seem to be similar to the corresponding Yocto sections really at all.
What am I supposed to be getting from the Nava guide? It doesn't tell me where to put any of the components as they are all different, and the testing described doesn't work either. For example, the Nava Noise section has three ICs and is tested through the IC pins, while there are no ICs in the Yocto2 Noise section. How can I test the sections as I go through? It feels like there is effectively no assembly guide suddenly!?
Building voices using Nava build guide?
i think what they mean is: build the yocto in the general order of the nava.
so first take on the noise bit, resistors first etc. complete the whole voice according to the individual voice list (from yocto v2)
and then move on to the bassdrum etc.
Also, there are some tips and tricks in the nava build that are left out in the yocto assembly guide that'll help but don't look at the exact components from nava
have fun with your build!
