Hi Monsieur Schtroumpf (or Schlumpf as they are called here in Germany),
a very cool project. Thanks for all the work you did! I have a question: In this thread the author argues, that he used a BA 6110 instead of a BA662 (for a compression pedal, sigh, guitarists, but what do I know?) and that it sounded completely different (SOurce: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/i ... c=105442.0 ) I trust you, when you say the BA6110 is the next best thing, but if I were to get my hands on a BA662 (ora clone, as there are some out there) would it be possible to just build in the "original" or are there any problems concerning the form factor or circuitry?
Thanks in advance Felix/Jakob

probably you can also use a BA662 but the 662a and 6110 have a different pin out.
check the datasheets to compare the chips.
maybe you want to check this: http://www.subatomicglue.com/x0xl0g/ba662a-analysis

Don't know if this is functional for this project, but there is a reversed enginered BA662 as used in a TB-303.

the open music labs clone works well in the re303, I've also used it to repair an mc202.Maarten wrote:http://wiki.openmusiclabs.com/wiki/x0xb0x
