At least that's what I've read here. 1.023 needs the original 4051s in place to work properly.
Has this issue ever been resolved?emerse wrote:i can also confirm im getting significant volume differences on all my drum voices, the rim shot is super loud. the kick is fairly quiet in comparison to the majority of the other voices, you basically have turn all the other voices right down to get a decent pattern with a balanced kick..
anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem, or is it firmware related?
cheers
Thank you! I will try that.KlangGenerator wrote:If you replace R419 with a 10k resistor the level will be reduced.
How are the lever relations on a real 909?emenel wrote:Has this issue ever been resolved?emerse wrote:i can also confirm im getting significant volume differences on all my drum voices, the rim shot is super loud. the kick is fairly quiet in comparison to the majority of the other voices, you basically have turn all the other voices right down to get a decent pattern with a balanced kick..

I have a new build of the 1.02 boards with the latest firmware and the levels of each voice are still wildly different. The rim is twice as loud as the BD and Toms.
Is this a hardware issue or firmware? If hardware, is there a component value that can be changed to even them out?
That's a good question - hope somebody can reply hereOortone wrote:Is there some relation between the firmware in the Erica Synth Drum Sequencer and the firmware in Nava?

The Erica Synth looks very similar and the firmware on the linked page started on 1.032, the last firmware for Nava was 1.028.
Almost like it's the continuation from Nava?
Would they be compatible between machines?
Sadly I think the whole project is dead. Same goes for the Yocto...Neuromancer wrote:Is the firmware for the NAVA still maintained?
