Nava2021 (post v1.028beta)

Discuss use it and firmware update
  • Bug: When using EXT instrument it seems impossible to save the notes entered in keyboard mode.

Can anyone confirm this is in v1.028 ?

It works for me in v1.028b
  • I wrote up a quick guide on how to build and upload the firmware with Arduino IDE 2.0 and MIDI SysEx: https://github.com/sandormatyi/Nava-909 ... /README.md

Thank you - that's the spirit we want to see here! ;-)

    1.028b vs 1.028 - did I miss something?
And could anybody quickly explain what "keyboard mode" is? I might not have ever used this mode of entering patterns...

  • Flavio, it is for use with the external instrument track.
Keyboard mode is the way to enter the notes you want the external instrument to play, the pattern is done in step time with ext. selected as instrument.
    And I indeed meant v1.028beta

I have created a github repository to which anyone can submit.

The idea for this thread is to collect wishes and bug reports for all firmware releases from v1.028beta onwards.
    Great job ;)

  • Just BTW: is there any updated documentation (manual) where also the new features are explained?

At this moment in time there is no updated documentation for the new features.

Perhaps a task for someone who doesn't know how to write code ?
