Hi all,
I have my Nava controlled by Logic via MIDI remote, going through an old Evolution X-Session MIDI interface. Everything works as it should, but if I loop some bars in logic, upon the first repeated of the loop the Nava goes out of sync.
I've tried this multiple times and it seems only the first loop is in sync, the rest thereafter are adrift. Is this firmware related? I've set Logic to transmit MTC and MMC but not really making any difference. Definitely seems like it's firmware, happens in Ableton too!

You need to change settings in ableton to retrig every bar. Its in midi preferences if i remember correctly.
This is a good read regarding midi clock from ableton. would definitely be interesting to hear if you get better results using the Nava as the master clock.
Do you mean the MIDI output setting, changing the Clock Type from Song to Pattern?serum114 wrote:You need to change settings in ableton to retrig every bar. Its in midi preferences if i remember correctly.
Hmm I've added -25ms MIDI Clock Sync Delay on the output interface and it seems to have done the trick.
Yes thats it. Change to pattern.Do you mean the MIDI output setting, changing the Clock Type from Song to Pattern?

Thanks serum, appreciate your suggestions. I had to do the same in Logic BTW, -25mS seems to be the magic number with my setup.serum114 wrote:Yes thats it. Change to pattern.Do you mean the MIDI output setting, changing the Clock Type from Song to Pattern?
