Hey,
i never had my hands on a real 909, but are there the volume levels between the different instruments balanced ? means if all are @100% volume, does it sound like you'd expect or do you have to adjust the volumes to get a balanced mix?
so if anyone that owns or was able to use a real 909, and best case scenario also owns a nava, can you tell me how its supposed to be on a 909? and do crash and ride also get louder on lowest tuning ?
edit: forgot something again.... yes my snare is very loud too

I would be interested to know this too. On my Nava the snare is really loud at max volume.
how is your kick?
my crash, ride and snare loud too
also my snare with full snappy adding noise

bassdrum is the one with the lowest volume, if all 3 toms and a lot of other instruments are playing, you barely notice it unless all knobs except attack are at 100%.
I have same kick level
also little humm
also little humm
Same low kick level, but it's clean
try with full drum bass and speakers volume, my bass drum clean if not turn to max
very interesting
very interesting
the hum isn't that loud, but it gets annoying when you start to process the kick, e-g. boosting it's level with the mixer gain, or using a distortion and so on.
Hi ! I have my Ride extremely Loud compared to the other parts? Any idea where this could come from? wrong resistor? I don't think I've messed up with the volume potentiometer.. thanks !
The ride is extremely loud. Not your fault.
