Is it normal for the regulators to get quite hot?

Hello,
I completed the Nava 1.02v and it is working perfectly. All sounds are great, accents work and everything.
The heat regulators get quite hot in a matter of minutes - is this normal? All voltages read correctly and there is no smell of burning components.
I looked in the forum and didn't really find an answer to this. If it is normal then I will leave it but if they should not heat up I will get back to troubleshooting.
(I can keep my hand on them - they aren't scorching hot - but pretty hot)

Thanks!

* I would like to add that I have the heat sinks on them - those are what are getting quite hot
** I also want to add that I have built it for someone else and need to be certain it is not over-heating before passing it on

That can be because your supplied voltage is a bit high. Try to measure it under load (=measure the AC input voltage while the Nava is powered on).

Otherwise if no fault is found, that could be also considered normal, hence the heatsinks...

Thanks for the reply.
I added extra heat sinks on the heat sinks haha! It made the heat really drop to a normal minimal level so I think it is good.
I think the voltage was ok, I checked at the start of the build but I already took it to the person I built it for so cannot check again.
Overall - a really great kit. Looks and sounds so good!
