  • Ok, turned out to be a broken AN6912. ;)
  • same thing here. I can only assume it's the chip, because I get the same sound after removing it. :P
  • Can confirm, faulty AN6912 in my case too. Weird.
  • Here alsof a faulty AN6912 ,must be a bad or fake chinese batch :?
  • My clap seems to be really low in volume compared to everything else... The reverb portion is way louder than the crackling envlope, so it ends up sounding far more 808ish than the 909 should be. I wonder what's happening here..

This is the clap turned way up. Almost sounds distorted.... bunk BA6110 too?

Mind you, this is after messing with the trimmer, it's as good as it can sound... anything more and it's an even more distorted mess, but the crackle needs to be louder than the reverb!
  • BA6110 replaced. Works perfectly!!! YAY!
  • I also had an issue with two faulty AN6912s. One in each kit, both with the same date code. Replaced them with ones from personal stock and it then works fine.

Any chance you have that date code?
