[SOLVED] Clap doesn´t work

Discuss Nava construction and related issues
  • Not an expert but this helped me : http://hardware.freepage.de/raf909/ under the circuit analysis section you can see what does what in the clap section (but I guess you probably know all this already)
  • Im not an expert too, but i know this page :)
  • now... every new BA6110 is verry fast grilled. Without the BA6110 the Q38 only have on one leg -15v. On the place of BA6110 i have -15v on point 5 and +15v on point 9.
Without the IC, there is no other place for the pins of it with -15v. If i put in a Ba6110, i have the -15v on pin4 again. I wouldn´t kill one more of it :(

I will take some measurements of all points on the place for BA6110 tomorrow.

  • Measurements of place of BA6110 without the IC:

    Pin1 Image
    Pin2 Image
    Pin3 Image
    Pin4 Image
    Pin5 Image
    Pin6 Image
    Pin7 Image
    Pin8 Image
    Pin9 Image

The transistor on q38 works well. is not defect. If i put in a BA6110, there is on Pin4 -15V and the 6110 is killed in the same time.
Please, can anyone make reference measurements (Without the BA6110 please)?

    Thx!
  • does your noise work?

    my noise signal
  • That looks crazy low, where are you reading that? You should be probing pin 9 of the second 4006.

What does your snare sound like?

+ on pin 9 and - on pin 5 is how it's supposed to be
  • I read it on the point noise in the clap-part. I don't know how high it should be.
The snare works - only tone and snappy doesn't.
