Shuffle

Discuss use it and firmware update
  • Dear effegee,

It would be a great update. 8-)
Maybe you could start a new topic with all update people want.

  • any luck with shuffle now?

    did someone implement it yet?

    if not
where in the sourcecode would the changings take place?
  • i didn't get to trying any coding yet. i started to dig into the code a bit to familiarise myself with the arduino environment.
i want to order myself a new cpu before i start to try and compile and load the binaries. i don't wan't to kill my perfectly working yocto by doing something stupid :).
so for me it's a long way before i'll start, i don't even know how to compile the code yet, let alone how to get it on the chip :)

once i start i want to make a functional design for the stuff i'd want to add and try to implement them step by step.

  • I know it's a (expensive) workaround, but using the Roland Aira syncbox as master, you can shuffle the Yocto with pleasure.
  • If you have a x0xb0x with x0xlarge cpu mod running n0nx0x2, you can also shuffle outgoing clock (when x0x is master)
Get the latest unofficial Yocto V1 firmware here.
Be sure to check the revised manual.

  • you could use new beatstep pro $250
  • ok. All workarounds notwithstanding. Where is shuffle? Will it be implemented? Please! Tanzmaus and Tanzbar light will have it -- like many others.

It would add so much to Yocto..!
