maybe just a silly question...
How can i see pcb traces with a free version of eagle using the supplied eagle files ?
I try to enable all the layers but i can't find a way...

I'm afraid not. In Eagle Pro, I would still need to run the auto router to get the traces.
I don't think you really need the traces on the pcb to build it. I've built my Yocto and I just needed to reference with the schematics 3-4 times because I wasn't sure about something. If you hold the board to the light, you see the traces under the silkscreen and together with the schematic you can figure it out.
