Sound is low and some voice not working

Discuss Yocto construction and related issues
  • nobody for help ?
  • If you have an old kit you may want to swap the IC in the accent section because some that e-lick sent were defekt.

It seems you have a lot of non working voices. For each, inspect firstly for soldering issues (there is a few spots where pads are very close but shouldn't connect..), then ICs/transistors and polarized parts orientations, then parts/values placement.

I can physically help in Switzerland, otherwise it's too complicated.
  • Thanks :D . I will test.

I made the noise modification of this site (https://masutopedals.wordpress.com/2016 ... ding-tips/), but the other mods are also to be done or this is just improvements?

There is also this site (https://www.dsl-man.de/display/DSO/Yoct ... ding+tipps) which offers mod / fix, are some of them necessary? (first fix it's ok for me)
  • ok, after replaced Accent CI and all re-checking, all voice work, but :

Bassdrum have only "Attack sound" (no bass) and decay knob don't work.
The handclap sound is fully saturated, BA6110 burned ?
  • For the clap, just change the trimmer setting maybe ? If your BA6110 was burned, I think it most likely wouldn't output any sound (but I am no expert).

    For the bassdrum:
    - if you have sockets, try to swap U12 with another similar IC
    - check C43 value and orientation
    - check R170, R164, R169, R168 (absolute) values
