Hi there!

Am I too stupid to use my Yocto?
Looks like everything works for first - In the "demo songs" all 11 parts are playing and sound well. I can even modulate them. The 5 switches to other instrumens (high conga / mid conga etc.) are working as well.

But the Sequenzer and the mode- and instrument selector are confusing me.
In Pattern Mode for example, i can not choose the BaseDrum at the selector. The clap for example is on two positions on selector (CP and CY) and so on... Looks like its completely mixed up.

another Example: The UserManual says:
"To know your Yocto software version, select Init EEP mode and press
RESET, you will hear two kick that indicate you are in version 2.0"
On my Yocto this "double Kick" appears on two modes of the modeselector...

Do you have any idea of what could be wrong here?

Are you sure D1 to D8 diodes are in the right way ?

Hi there,

i checked the diodes - all in right place and direction.
Don´t know what it is but the machine is not doing what it should

Any other ideas?

Dear Nicolas,

Your problem appears to be a malfunction of rotary switch. check the R52 to R55 values and solders.
Check if your CPU is firmly embedded.
Maybe a picture of the circuit could help me to find a solution to solve your problem.

Hi There,

I checked all parts of the sequencer section and found some parts that where not solder that good.
Now it works! Thanks for your help!!!

Now i realized that the cymbal is not playing - if we could fix that last problem toghether i would be MORE THAN HAPPY!!!
I took some Pictures of the Cymbal part - may be you can have a look at it?
