One thing that I'm not sure about either, is if putting the connector descriptions on the back is a better idea than having them on the front plate. On my DX7 II the descriptions are printed on the front plate and it's much handier than on all my other gear. I actually have a small mirror in the studio for exactly that purpose, look at the rear of my synths to connect stuff so I don't have to move them. Also, I'm guessing it will be cheaper to print just 1 side of the enclosure.
I don't have illustrator on my pc, so I can't check with the overlay file, but I think the outlines on the cutouts don't need to be printed, and the marker lines on the level buttons shouldn't go inside the cutting zone. But those are details.
One idea I do have is to write the 'start/stop' and 'shift' in negative, just like on the 808. Again, details.
I'm waiting for a new offer with the correct dimensions, and then I'll make an appointment to go over there to work out the final design, so there's still some time to get a print design that's to everyone's liking!
I'm starting to get the feeling I'm going to have to order a lot of these things...
