ARP 2600 Clone Ala TTSH

Postby hofmann25 » May 7th, '16, 07:20

Just wondering if e-Licktronic would consider doing a ARP2600 Clone since Jon at The Human Comparator isn't doing the TTSH anymore... :ugeek:

I'm sure most e-Lickers would be uber keen!

Seems like all the info is out there to build it...

Vincent?

Dear Hofmann25,

As the ARP2600 clone was already made we do not want to make it again.
We are more thinking of rebuilt an EXTRA SH-101 clone (as CEM3340 is in re production ;) with 3 VCO based on the CEM3340 instead of one, 2x ADSR, 2x LFO, a complex arpeggiator and a Jupiter 4 filter ( the based of the IR3109 used in the SH101)
But CHHHhhhhhh... this project is still in the background ;)

Best regards,
e-licktronic

stable tuning will be an issue you will need to solve with the cem3340, Roland burned in and hand selected so called "white" dot versions for the sh101, the others will not work so well here. The new ones, is anyones guess but I would imagine they will have the same issues.

Nothing we all can't handle I'm sure based on what has been able to be accomplished with the RE-303, Nava & Yocto.

Happy days ahead peeps :)

No need. ARP2600 is already launched, and is very much useful.
