Re: Source Code for Yocto 2.0 Hardware
I second this request. It would be super awesome to have an open source approach here. Official version control shouldn't be an issue with Github, etc. Yes, as a result there will be alternative versions out in the world once it's released, but that can only be beneficial to the project. Let those v...

Accent issue - BD, SD, Toms, RM, HC & CB [SOLVED]
Being a newbie, this is hard for me to explain clearly, so please be patient. I was getting no sound for these instruments: BD, SD, Toms, RM, HC and CB. After checking everything to do with my soldering, etc.. Traced it back to IC114/IC3 (CD4051/CD4049). Turns out that pin 10 of IC3 was sending a di...

Current Yocto2 OS in HEX
Does anyone have the firmware? I need to make a replacement chip.
What version do people have? Mine was Yocto_v2_002.

Re: MUX_SH board mod tutorial
Is it related to this post?
Also, if it works for the NAVA, would it work for the Yocto2? Assuming firmware update?

Re: Yocto² Mouser BOM Official Thread
Is that still the case with Yocto 2? I think the solution is generic. There's a section in the 808 Service notes that recommends alternative resistor values, as well as a post on this forum. Masuto used trimmers on stripboard to fine-tune those values. That's a good approach. They're probably sligh...

Re: YOCTO² enclosures - official thread
I paid the PayPal invoice in July and the case has arrived today. It's a good case and I'm glad I have it, even though it was a looong wait.

Are your caps in the right holes for C98 and C105? Your C105 looks a bit juicy for a 5.6n.

Re: Any Advice for Assembly?
Another good build blog: https://tr-bob.tumblr.com/page/2 Some advice I'm using myself: Use a decent soldering iron and solder. I'm using Kester '44' Rosin Core. Wear eye protection and use a fan to vent your workspace. Get some good quality side snips, a desoldering pump and some braid. Use a formi...
