@decoder, in your pics it looks like you didn't desolder the IC, did you just solder the wire to pin2, leaving it in the hole? i would rather to it that way and not desolder the IC. and this here is just for me to learn some things, i you pull pin2 of the IC, so it's only connected to the wire going...

:mrgreen: the SD noise is not really a problem, i'm just curious if the transistor leg swap does anything to the sound, noise etc... since the transistor is acting as switch, not as an amp, could it maybe improve the sound noise ratio? i have no idea... but the BD buzz is really bad, if i have the B...

since the update i have some sync issues. running in slave mode, if i switch between play and step mode, it "jumps" or slows down if kept pressed, after releasing it will catch up and is in sync again.
next time i have it running i check if this is in master mode too.

its not really a lot noise, just some noise that you only really hear if nothing is playing

What would happened to the snare if you don't swap the transistor legs? Does the snare sound weird? or no sound at all? i have not swapped them, sounds how i would expect from the 909 snare... but since my snare has noise, i would be interested to know if swapping the legs removes the noise ? or ma...

replaced the caps in the master section with better caps, and since i cut the old cable, installed a mic cable that has a good shield, still noise
