It would be unfair to a lot of builders to say the Traces and Vias are not fragile.

Is it a "must" to do the hardware changes? I rather not go in there again for the 100:th time. What do you mean by improved velocity in this case? What was "bad" with it before? Nothing is bad with the 47nF capacitor but we found that velocity response increase with a lower valu...

I'm afraid yes. There is definately something wrong if your CH just clicks like in that video. Ok so. VR23 is faulty. 1M - 1A 05. I de-Soldered it and there is no continuity between pins 2/3 & 1. When I place it back in circuit there is continuity between pins 2/3 & 1. This is why OH Decay ...
