Re: Marvin Gaye!!
I expected the Yocto to be blank after initialization. So the first pattern I programmed immediately after init was Sexual Healing. After a new reinitialization I was quite surprised to hear it again! I initially thought there was an issue in the "init EEPROM" function of my Yocto. Now tha...

Low Tom/Conga Pitch
If your low tom/conga pitch is a bit higher than expected, you can increase R231 value.
I noticed that the pitch of low tom/conga of my Yocto was higher than the one of a TR-808 I borrowed.
I could match the pitch of the TR-808 by increasing the value of R231 to 4K7.

A good night and I found the issue. Transistor Q48 was dead.

Re: Snare snappy not working
The snappy pot seems to work fine. The amplitude of the envelope decreases when the pot is turned counterclockwise, which is expected. The circuit between the white noise source (WN) and the junction of R185-D54 is a VCA. The white noise source is amplified by the envelope. http://www.frisnit.com/wo...

Re: Snare snappy not working
I also get a similar issue. No snappy noise. I did not notice any discontinuity in the PCB. The capacitors seems ok. Noise signal arrives at C56. Here is what I observe with the snare triggered on every beat, snappy pot set to maximum. - Channel 1 in blue is R185-D54 junction (1V) - Channel 2 in red...

Re: r 151 accent resistor burns
Just to say that I had the exact same issue with the CD4011BE of that 10HMAND serie. Replacing it by a new one resolved the issue. Regarding fake components, this is very unfortunate for the reasons you mentioned Pato. Maybe this could have been double-checked. But keep in mind this even happens in ...

Re: Exploring other enclosure options.
For anyone interested in the files I used for the enclosure, let me know in the thread or PM me. You should know, though, that the cutout part of these files is just a copy of the cutout EPS file that is provided for the acrylic case. I still cannot send PMs but I am still interested in the enclosu...

Re: Exploring other enclosure options.
Bummer I missed out on this case. ElSchtroumpf, would you be willing to share your files for the enclosure/cutouts and graphic file?? Would love to see if I can find someone locally to make it. That looks like a lot of work to organize for everyone. Very generous of you. :D thanks. Similarly, I wou...

Re: Exploring other enclosure options.
Hello ElSchtroumpf !
Your enclosure looks absolutely perfect ! I would also be interested in your enclosure. Unfortunately I cannot send you a PM for now.
Would you share a reminder of its status, specs and estimated price ? Dimensions, embedded transformer, main plug with fuse, etc ?
Thanks a lot !
