I think you are using a DC PSU and that's why the negative rail doesn't check out. You need an AC PSU to power the Yocto.

The +15 Volt rail needs a little load to check out correctly. Try to measure with a resistor (4,7K) between the output of +15Volt and Ground.

Yes, I'm not sure if E-licktronic will restock them. They were made and sold sold by them.

Do the noise transistors sound different?

Yes.

The 2sc828R is there because of the desired noise characteristic.

You're good to go. Just have a look at the schematic in the PDF file and you will see for yourself. Btw, it's not pin two but pin three of the IC (U24) that connects with R131 and the negative side of C31. ;) Maybe read up on this to get the noise section correct, there has been a revision done: htt...

As you can see... some caps can be substituted for other types, not sure about the differences in sound.
