Re: Accidentaly cut two traces..
It would be nice if Elicktronic could provide pdf's of the traces on top and bottom of the board. Would make troubleshooting a little easier.

Accidentaly cut two traces..
:o Yes, I think I fucked up a little - slipped with my pliers and rammed them straigth down into the PCB. Loooking at the schematics there should be 4 traces that connect IC114 and IC111, right? Are these the connected pads for the IC's (marked as red lines in th image)? Also marked is my fuck-up :|...

Component numbering
Is there a component numberings correlation of the passive and IC components, between the Nava and the original 909?
Are the numbering the same?
I was thinking of adding the pitch-mod for my hi-hats, which seems quite doable as long as you can id the components

Re: Mix Out Noisy/Distorted
hmmm it is something else. but has to do with the muting circuit. I cut the traces to place take the signal after d195, but the mix out is still distorted. :( for now I will remove the 22k resistors again to get a clean mix out. maybe the designer of the kit may find the time to fix this hardware b...

Re: My build log - missing parts, questions and suggestions
Daaaang! I found the problem! The right 'standoff' from VR14 is placed directly above a via carrying the signal from R12A to the 4069 VCC pin (14). Since the standoff is connected to GND and touches the untented via when the pot is fully inserted, it shorts the output of the opamp down to GND, elim...

Re: Secondary Noise Source Kit
I'd like 1 package of PCB and chips. And I think a switch would be wonderful

Re: My build log - missing parts, questions and suggestions
i did start listing the missing parts in my build but alas i gave up, also worth noting there are little to no metal film caps in the bom (instead it uses poly box). You should really use those nice Nichicon metal film if you want it closer to the original machine ;) (i was lucky to have a good sta...
