Re: Cannot adjust TP1 to 5V : stays around -0.2V...
Thanks serum114 ! I already checked ICs orientation and +5V supply, and all is correct. No solder shorts. I've checked all connections around TP1 / IC110, and all is correct too, including voltage supplies (+5V, +15V, -15V). Now I'm going to check the CPU --> Shift registers connections... I'll post...

Cannot adjust TP1 to 5V : stays around -0.2V [SOLVED]
Hi! I'm starting a new post here, as posting (as I did) in a topic marked as "Solved" may not be the brightest idea... :-) I cannot adjust TP1 as TM2 doesn't change the voltage between TM1 and Ground (it is around -0.2v... Very weird) I do have a working screen displaying info (like "...

Re: Finished Build - Init EEprom mode & TM2 adjustment [Solv
Hi! I'm posting here as the problem I have seems quite similar... I cannot adjust TP1 as TM2 doesn't change the voltage between TM1 and Ground (it is around -0.2v... Very weird) I do have a working screen displaying info (like "adjust TM2). I've checked every IC orientation and they are all cor...

Re: Noise problem on the last batch
Hi !
I replaced the 2SC828 with another one, from another manufacturer, and the awfull-sounding claps and toms are now perfect. Old 828 hFE was 282, new 828 hFE is 350.
So in my (narrow) experience, there's a connection btw hFE and sound.

Re: Noise problem on the last batch
Hi everyone, hi Bastien! I did the mod but still wasn't able to perform a proper calibration. So what I finally did was using the ear calibration: 1. tweaking TM3 until the clap attack was as I wanted to hear it; 2.tweaking the noise trimmer until I found the sweat spot between "I cannot hear t...

Re: Noise problem on the last batch
Hi, I have the same issue with the Noise section... I have two built Yoctos, and with one I cannot get below 700mV AC on Pin 1, and with the other Yocto, range is btw 16mV and 20mV AC. I built both Yoctos in parallel, so that is really weird... Both 4558 are properly powered (approx. +15v/-15v) On t...

Hi Italofrans,
Do you still have some of those nice knobs? I need x24 11mm ones (I already have x2 11mm and x2 15mm...)
Cheers!
