Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

It feels a bit moot at this point, but I just finished testing the TapWrite code finally. It looks great to me, so I've put together a release on github . Most people excited about this feature got a version of code that supports it within this thread, but you can grab the latest version from the a...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

In Expander mode the accent is per voice and not common/global. About the global accent, it could be nice to be able to still trigger it as in fact it can already be assigned to a note. You're right about the per-voice accent, but for a very annoying reason. I will fix the manual accordingly. The Y...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

This is a bit off-topic, but an "undocumented" feature of the Yocto is to trigger the global accent when receiving a MIDI note with velocity greater than or equal to 100 in expander mode. This isn't mentioned in the official manual, but it's now on the GitHub manual . There's some good ide...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

I just tested the new "slave sync fix" changes on GitHub and they look great. Encoder behavior is good and it's so nice that it doesn't lose sync when switching modes. Really fantastic work, rv0! The code is "released" on GitHub for interested parties. Version is bumped to 1.1 si...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

rv0 and I are discussing the software updates on GitHub at the moment. You can view an updated manual there. Your impressions about Tap Write mode are similar to mine. It's a really cool feature, but sometimes the drum hit doesn't play and sometimes my tap goes in the wrong beat. Looking at rv0's co...

Re: Is still someting going on here? Any dev-activity?

so i had some little time to modify my yocto so that it's safer to have it opened while powered up (removed the 230VAC from it) since i don't like the slowness of MIDI SYSEX for bootloaders, i was planning to use an AVR programmer attached to the programmer port, with its cable coming out of the ca...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

Hello all, It's been a minute, sorry about that. My computer hardware is in a sad state right now, so I haven't been checking in. rv0 has done some incredible work here. I'm reviewing the code now, but I won't have a way to test the merged code for a couple days while I repair my computer. If anyone...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available

I finally dived into this code, first time I do anything Arduino, so be gentle ;) I added Midi output for the last 4 "unused" instruments (13 14 15 16) to drive the first 4 channels (1 2 3 4) of my Korg Volca Sample to have some more sounds available during live performance and keep my ha...
