OK, it seems that Gnd from the IO board is not in continuity with some ground points on the sequencer part...digital ground is not grounded... I had to put a jumper on R40 to make it worked. Hey, finally 'finished' Power board voltages are fine, but I get nothing when plugged in. Its late now. I'm going to bed, but any tips on things to check would be great. Can this be added to a v1.01a board while building, instead of modifying afterwards? That way nothing needs desoldering?
