Re: ride pitch problem

I have been trying to track thru the circuit taking out parts to narrow down where the clock noise is coming from. I got it so I hear the noise with with the following components out of the circuit: r446, ic64 and the ride vol pot. so i guess that means the clock noise is bleeding somewhere between...

Re: ride pitch problem

I just tried a lot more stuff and still can't find the problem. I replaced or swapped ic 64, 52, 55, 57, 56. q69, q68, c130. I can kind of see a ringing on ic 58 pin 9 and 15. But one pin is ground and one is the trigger. I can also see the noise on both sides of r435, but doesn't seem to come from...

Re: New run of Chia Shin TR-909 style knobs

I still have around 80 knob sets available. I also have some small knobs with T18 shaft for the Extra9 mod pots. These also need to be drilled to make them fit, but it is much easier compared to the D-shaft knobs! If you want to have a set please send your request to service@klanggenerator.com https...

Yes, you need the extra boards for all firmware versions from v1.024 upwards to work properly.

Re: Velocity + Total accent don't work on 2nd hand Nava

I had a bad DAC (MCP4822/ IC115) recently that was responsible for some awful LED noise on the master output and a non working accent. I also tried several accent boards before without success. Changing IC115 finally fixed the problem.

Re: Swap out the LCD Display?

I'm struggling to see the 909 display during the day as it gets washed out by sunlight! Can anyone see any reason why the displays below wouldn't work? They're the same size & manufacturer. https://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhd0216k1zfswfbwl-p-296.html https://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhd0216k1zfs...

I'd say IC33 died. To find out, remove IC33 and place it's companion (IC32) inside the socket.

Re: v1.01a troubleshooting (no display, but seq. is good)

No one? Vincent? The quality of v1.0 and v1.01a boards is pretty poor. Many users - including me - reported all sorts of issues due to broken traces. Download the PCB Silkscreen files and check the traces in the sequencer section, especially those around IC110. Also check your cabling. Okay, I have...
