By the sound of it there may be some issues with the 4011 used seeing as a fewguys have had issues with them. Pick yourself up a new one from an electronics shop and see how you go.

Double and triple check orientation and value of all diodes and electrolytics. Check for solder bridges and cold solder joints.

Have you tried replacing your 74HC595N ICs? My sequencer was doing weird things and replacing these sorted it.

Is there any way to adjust the amount of noise going into the toms sound? At 130mV with a 520R resistor at R127 the snare is sounding pretty nice but the toms noise is super high to the point where it's not adding a little extra to the sound but overpowering it. Is there a resistor value or somethin...

Here's my first test. The closest I could get the noise section adjustment to 130mV was about 50mV in this video. Replace your 4011. I replaced mine with a 4011BE and it's rocking now!

Replaced the 4011 with a 4011BE I picked up from Jaycar and away it went! Thanks for the tip :D . When I say higher wattage, I've replaced it with 1/2 Watt as opposed to 1/4 Watt so not a massive increase.
