Re: r 151 accent resistor burns
By the sound of it there may be some issues with the 4011 used seeing as a fewguys have had issues with them. Pick yourself up a new one from an electronics shop and see how you go.

Re: -15 v Getting 0V on PSU
Double and triple check orientation and value of all diodes and electrolytics. Check for solder bridges and cold solder joints.

Re: Finished assembly, but not working..
Have you tried replacing your 74HC595N ICs? My sequencer was doing weird things and replacing these sorted it.

Playing with opamps
Decided to try a few different opamps in my Yocto just for fun. I've replaced all toms with NE5532 which is a definite improvement. In the snare I'm using an OPA2604 and an NE5532 which has given it a far more rounded tone, for the kick I'm using an OPA2134 which gave it a little more oomph and for ...

Toms noise
Is there any way to adjust the amount of noise going into the toms sound? At 130mV with a 520R resistor at R127 the snare is sounding pretty nice but the toms noise is super high to the point where it's not adding a little extra to the sound but overpowering it. Is there a resistor value or somethin...

Re: "Demo your 808 yocto" thread
Here's my first test. The closest I could get the noise section adjustment to 130mV was about 50mV in this video. I've changed R127 from 4K7 to 1K and now it's 110 but I'd like to get it closer because my snare still lacks the snap I want. [video]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF86KwV4fa0&featu...

Replace your 4011. I replaced mine with a 4011BE and it's rocking now!

Re: OH NO!!! Krisbo has Yocto Issues :,-(
Replaced the 4011 with a 4011BE I picked up from Jaycar and away it went! Thanks for the tip :D . With a 4K7 resistor at R127 I still didn't have 130mV in the noise section and the snare sounded weak. I've replaced it with 1K and I could get up to 110mV. It's a bit snappier now but I'd like to go a ...

Re: New Acrylic/Wood Yocto case
Cool. I had Online Laser Cutting (Australian mob) quote me on the new and the original design. I went with the original because they can only do 4mm MDF but they accidentally cut the new version. They're sending me the original tomorrow but I' just the MDF parts shy of the new case. I may have to ge...

I'll order one and give it a go.
When I say higher wattage, I've replaced it with 1/2 Watt as opposed to 1/4 Watt so not a massive increase.
