Re: Yocto successfully completed build thread

Is it just a trick of the lights? Your red buttons of the sequencer seem to be lower than the right hand side white ones? Hey Misa, my buttons are all good and level. :D Seeing as the spacers are all the same height and assuming that you nave used the ones supplied, with no additional washers etc. ...

Re: Exploring other enclosure options.

what is the orange point on the grid volumes on all instruments I assumed (and that is all it is) that the orange dots represented optimum level and beyond them the amp is driven! But that is a total guess. ;) My completed Yocto is over in the ‘Yocto successfully completed build thread’ if you fanc...

Re: Noise section trimmer voltage?

Should I get a trimmer like "lfo2vco" did? And what value should this trimmer have for my prefered TM4 setting? Hi Shiva Niet, I planned to use a 100k trimmer, but the guys at Maplin gave me a 1M by mistake. However this served the purpose of finding the right value without keep soldering...

Re: Cymbal square wave problem

Hi Vincent, Many, many thanks for your assistance. :D It seems my mistake was not grounding the scope correctly! I did not think to use U1 Pin 7. So before unsoldering anything I retried the calibration correctly grounded as per your instruction and hey presto it all seems sorted now. :P TM1* adjust...

Re: Cymbal square wave problem

Hi e-licktronic,
e-licktronic wrote: Try to increase R60* to 6k8 to get 5V at U1 Pin14.
OK I replaced R60* with a 6k8 1% resistor, I now get 5.12v at U1 Pin 14.
However the scope output still looks the same as before and the Cowbell still sounds too low. :?

Any suggestions regarding what should I check next?

Re: Cymbal square wave problem

Many thanks for your reply. R53* has continuity to ground and is a 1K resistor as per the build instructions. Q9* base voltage is -14.20v (I put the positive probe from my Multimeter to the centre lead and the negative probe to ground). I hope that is the correct way to check. I will get the ...
