All LED resistors in the schematic are 220 which is fine with normal LEDs but the ones supplied in the BOM are probably high efficient. I used 1k2 for all LEDs wich gives good brightness. For the LCD from the mouser BOM no resistor is needed as the new haven already have them on the display board. s...

it does sound like overdriven, but the strange thing is it is not dependent on the instrument volume. BD has the same distortion, even if I set the volume really low. I don't have the time currently to thorougly analyse the output stage. So maybe someone else can chime in and report how their output...

The main out on my and a friends unit sounds quite distorted and noisy. Single outs are fine. Especially audible with kick and toms.

Daaaang! I found the problem! The right 'standoff' from VR14 is placed directly above a via carrying the signal from R12A to the 4069 VCC pin (14). Since the standoff is connected to GND and touches the untented via when the pot is fully inserted, it shorts the output of the opamp down to GND, elimi...
