Re: Unoffical Firmware Available
To make this possible the controls to change the pattern length had to be changed, instead of using shift+"01-16" button or shift+"16-32", you now use those buttons without shift. Which imho works a lot better anyway... So to change the length of the pattern after this change, h...

Design flaw of the original 808, and there's no (easy) fix for it AFAIK. 1:1 clones FTW!

Re: Yocto build script
In the end I was making simple changes to test if the firmware responds, e.g. changing the init BPM //initialise les parametre du sequenceur bpm=480;//BPM reel = bpm/4 Later I was even even commenting out lines of the code which should have rendered certain functions useless but no changes. With thr...

Re: Yocto build script
Yes, that was it. Depends on where you place your yocto-build folder, of course. Looks like it's simpler if you place it in your home folder (e.g. pointing to "c:\Users\[your username]\yocto-build\" would be a convenient "~/yocto-build" in Docker Toolbox). However, is it normal t...

Re: Yocto build script
Looks like it's working on Windows 7 x64 via Docker Toolbox! For your second command... # In the yocto-build directory docker run -v /path/to/yocto-build:/yocto yocto ...I had to adjust the syntax for the path basically like described here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40213524/using-absolute...

Re: Trigger 1 Trigger 2
You mean you're in MIDI expander mode and want to send MIDI notes that trigger TR1 and TR2 on the Yocto? I haven't tried but I assumed you could assign MIDI notes to those just like with the other instruments (hold down shift and send the MIDI note to the Yocto to assign it to the currently active i...

Re: Maracas volume
Thank you, I'll try that! It's probably just my perceived volume. I use the Yocto live a lot so I'm simply fine tuning the volumes a bit so there are no big volume adjustments necessary when switching CP and MA. I did the same adjustment to the claves: when switching between RS and CL the CL just se...

Maracas volume
Hi all, I can't seem to find the right resistor(s) to reduce the maracas volume, it's just too loud relative to the clap on my Yocto v1. Or, since MA and CP share part of the circuit, is it even possible to reduce only MA volume? (From the schematics my guess was increasing R377 (100k) but it had no...

Re: Yocto vs Yocto2
It might be many people will want to add the Cocteau board to their Yocto and if I am not mistaken it's only available for Yocto V1 so far.
