Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
Cocteau PCB ON-ON switches are still too tight to fit the enclosure. So, I guess it was just a re-paint, which is really much better. I'll start filing then, got to finish this thing now, it's been more than a year already

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
I got my enclosure back from Kacper, it's much, much better quality now. Not sure for the switch holes yet, I'll get a change to try it next week. I'll report back then.

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
Just got an email from Kacper, re-paint done and enclosure shipped with tracking. I have no idea why this took so long but seems like Kacper still delivers. I'll report the results with pics when I get the enclosure back, in 1-2 weeks.

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
Anyone heard from Kacper? Who is this friend Tomek? Anyway to get in touch with him? I'd like to know what's going on with the re-paints. If it's not going to happen, I'd like to get my enclosure back. This is not really about money... more about to be able to finish this build, even with not-so-per...

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
My spdt switches didn't fit, even when not soldered at all. I filed the holes just a little bit to get them in. I guess the problem could be the paint, making the holes little too tight. Now they fit perfect. But the silkscreen is just terrible, no way near "good enough". Kacper hasn't ans...

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
Hi Kacper! I emailed you about the case. Two things, silkscreen wears off easily and the on-off slide switches (cocteau) doesn't fit to the holes. I can file/trim the holes, but that would also remove the black paint. The previous yocto enclosure that I purchased from you didn't have these issues. C...

Re: My yocto build with wooden sides
Cool, thanks for the response - i think they are indeed the cliff ones. Can you tell/show me if they hang very high from the frontpanel or are they pretty flush. Thinking of getting one of those Kacper™ cases Here's a pic! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8085136/Yocto/yocto%20knobs.jpg [resize=...

I like those a lot too! Not original style, but they feel good and I like the look.
I don't remember where I got the switch knobs..I'm also thinking of changing them to something else.

My yocto build with wooden sides
Hi all, I finished my yocto and wanted to share pics of the results. Kacper's case with the IEC socket and http://www.partco.biz/verkkokauppa/product_info.php?products_id=15484 as a toroidal transformer. I soldered one of the step buttons tiny bit off and had to file the case little bit, so be extra...
