Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
No rush in this! I also haven't yet had time to proceed :-( So you're suggesting that I can backup via SysEx with the actual firmware - right? But then, restoring on your firmware could lead to errors - right? So, do you think there's maybe a way to just play the saved patterns and record MIDI on a ...

Re: DinSync issues
So after one year I'm back at it. And I still do have strange things happening. I'm using Expert Sleeper's USAMO (fed from its plugin from Ableton Live), which MIDI goes into the E-RM Multiclock. From there I send DinSync to the Yocto and I do have the issue that sequencer does not always start from...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Hey man! I never got to install the new firmware version, but now I am ready and the first question arises in advance. You instruct to erase the EEPROM before installing your firmware version. This clears all patterns. Is there any way to backup the patterns in advance, then restore them after the O...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Note numbers for midi pattern change mode are the same as in the 2021 Neuromancer firmware: Pattern change in Slave Mode: Bank A-H: note 61-68 (C#4-G#4) Pattern 1-16: note 72-87 (C5-D#6) I was thinking, would it make more sense to change Patterns to 71-86? So both banks and patterns start from a C#...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Damn! Now I'm forced to test it! Hah!
Next week I should have plenty of spare time, I'll give it a shot. Should I specifically test something?

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Thank you Oortone.
I will be happy to test your new firmware version. Would you mind also updating (or creating) the manual for it, when released?
Thanks,
F.

Re: Official Yocto BUGS list
Hi. I got following issue (which might be a bug)? When I slave the Yocto via MIDI to either my Cirklon or my E-RM Multiclock, the first step of the pattern is not being played (but it will be played when it loops). When the Yocto is synced with DinSync, the issue does not happen! Anybody experiencin...

Re: Unoffical Firmware Available
Hi all.
Most probably no updates on Yocto firmware, I guess?!

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Pattern chains - pattern groups (in Pattern Play mode) ... Unless I’ve missed some very valuable use of stored pattern chains it will not be re-implemented in this firmware since it really makes a lot of stuff very complicated. However the old code structures are kept inactivated in the code if som...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
The Stop/Continue functionality This is not yet set. It might take some time and thinking to finish. Also there are the midi realtime equivalents when running as slave that I guess should reflect the same functionality as the buttons. Here are the combinations I can think of and my preliminary sugg...
