Re: Sequencer switches / switch caps - source?

Thanks all for the help - interesting to note that the switch caps themselves can not be acquired separately to the underlying switch assembly.

However, a very friendly forum member was able to help me out - you know who you are, and thank you very much indeed :)

Cheers

Re: Fake CD4011BE / burnt R151 issue

Thank you for the comprehensive reply Gihaume, most kind of you to take the time to reply with such detail. I will make quantitative checks later this evening. I did notice a strange behaviour... If I flexed the mainboard slightly, the clap, hihat and snare triggered correctly. I suspect there might...

Re: Sequencer switches / switch caps - source?

Seemingly, there are no retail distributors of the switches and caps - they are RJS electronics SP86N-A1 (where A1 = cap/cover type).

I may have to buy a complete assembly from Yocto shop, but I only need the red coloured cap :(

Re: Fake CD4011BE / burnt R151 issue

Hi Gihaume Soon I hope I can solve the problems and finally use the wood sides you sold me last year. So, I replaced the fake CD4011BE with a new CD4011BE (I also have a HCF4011BE to try). And yes, almost all the channels are generating sounds when triggered, so - in effect - the unit is working str...

Sequencer switches / switch caps - source?

Hi everyone - I've checked the forum and BOM but can not find reference to the source for the sequencer switches and switch caps/covers.

Maybe I have just missed the reference?

Please can someone confirm the part number and which firm to source from.

Thanks

Tim

Fake CD4011BE / burnt R151 issue

Hi everyone I acquired a part built kit last year and finally finished the job last week. I have encountered a few issues though... 1. I noticed some 'magic smoke' earlier this evening and noticed that R151 had burnt out. I researched the forum and note that I likely have a fake CD4011BE, so will or...

Re: Yocto PSU

Hi jaidee Thanks for the ESR link - I have just acquired a kit and needed a UK power supply, but could not find a compatible and reasonably priced AC-AC supply, despite checking many sites. Cheers TC Thanks seven I'm not too keen on PSUs with selectable outputs but perhaps I need to overcome my prej...
