Have you checked all your solder points in the circuit to see if maybe there is short somewhere? Have you gone back through and confirmed you have the correct resistors where they belong. All caps in the right direction? Did you socket all your IC's? Did you have any parts left over when you finishe...

If you pick up an arduino when can test the instruments while you build. That's the best way to know what's up before you build the entire thing and turn it on to find out things are out of whack.

Yes I get it regardless of the output I use. I have a suspicion it has something to do with the accent because when I turn it down it goes away. Come to think of it though, I can also make it go away if I back off the master as well. ???

Thanks for the reply. U15 is in the correct direction, The tom has been working and only stopped after I did the noise revision that's in the service manual. This is why I am confused as to why it would stop. I upgraded the opamp in the master section so I have a spare 4558 I will put in to the circ...

Did service manual noise revision and have solved my 130mv problem. My issue is now I'm no longer getting a low tom/Congo sound and only hear the noise. Thanks. I found that post with the schematic and figured it out. It did the trick in allowing me the range to get to 130mv. But now I have another issue.
