Is it possible to trim this by ear? Doesn't this trimpot control the amount of white noise going in to the "snappy" of the snare drum?

Do you figure you overheated the transistors or did they just come busted with the kit?

What did you do about the germanium diode, did you replace it with a different type?

In the latest batch the handclap section is different, does the parts list match up though the pictures are from an older run?

Thanks for the response, but I'm not sure if I get what you are saying. Is it safe for me to continue into the handclap despite not having inserted IC's or measured voltages on the rimshot?

Is it possible to change a resistor value to simply lower the fixed pitch of the BD?

I measured mine and the values were:

1.640
.691
.644

Isn't around 0.3 normal? Whats up with the 1.640 one?
