Re: Kacper Case Standoff Mounts Broken
How about a slow curing 2-component epoxy? Reichelt used to sell JB Weld, you should be able to use Plastic Padding chemical metal, or whatever it’s sold as locally (Pattex Epoxy, Araldite, Permabond). It was used to glue standoffs for MIDIBox panels back in the day.

https://www.reichelt.de/styroflex-capac ... l_11&nbc=1 takes you to Reichelt in Germany who has them. Or, you could go with a Mica cap.

Same here! The package arrived last week, but there was a long weekend in the waymomo wrote:Got mine today - feels like a miracle.

It came out looking good, so now it’s build time.

Reichelt to the rescue!
MPR 160K is the same thing.
Or, browse E-bay, Futurlec (slow-ish as they are in Thailand) or Tayda. Distrelec only has SMD resistors with that tolerance. Digi-Key in the US stocks suitable parts. RS and Rapidonline don't.

Re: Nava v1.0 BOM [5/18/16 IMPORTANT BOM UPDATE]
There's only a bunch of resistors out of stock - pro tip: search for alternatives for each of those. Then there's the Polystyrene caps - if you're in Europe you can get those from Reichelt in Germany for instance. They might be called Styroflex there. Last up is a bunch of metric fasteners, those ca...

Re: TUTO: How to get a Full Yocto v1.0 Kit
The Grayhill substitution is OK. It's just the color of the housing as long as you swap between LB and LR. The cap substitution is OK, but there's some confusion about the lead spacing on the Panasonic. The specifications say 5.0mm, the description of the thing says 22.5mm and the datasheet doesn't ...

Re: C40, C41 , C42 Bassdrum section... ceramic?
Because there is nothing to correct? There is no functional difference between a 10nF film cap and a 10nF C0G/NPO ceramic cap. Just because it says film in some document doesn't mean it has to be slavishly followed if the substitute is just as good.
The Mouser capacitor tombola is fascinating.

Re: C40, C41 , C42 Bassdrum section... ceramic?
If they are ceramics with good temperature stability, say C0G or NPO, no. You can substitute those types and films caps back and forth quite freely. Check out Ian Fritz if you want the words of some authority to back this up. I'd trust him over some "audiophile" who knows squat about elect...
